Anzu 💗 Tea!

At Anzu, we love a good old-fashioned afternoon tea. And being English, we are probably ingrained with the idea that there is nothing that can't be solved with a nice cup of tea! As the novelist Jasper Fforde says "There is no problem on earth that can't be ameliorated by a hot bath and a cup of tea"

Or as comedian David Walliams says,

“In Britain, a cup of tea is the answer to every problem.

Fallen off your bicycle? Nice cup of tea.

Your house has been destroyed by a meteorite? Nice cup of tea and a biscuit.

Your entire family has been eaten by a Tyrannosaurus Rex that has travelled through a space/time portal? Nice cup of tea and a piece of cake. Possibly a savoury option would be welcome here too, for example a Scotch egg or a sausage roll.”

And as Fennel Hudson says

“I like tea so much that I’m considering changing my name to Bergamot so that I can exist in a perpetual state of Earl Grey contentment.”

We love it so much it was the inspiration behind our black tea candle, which was inspired by Earl Grey and scones with lashings of jam and cream.

As George Gissing said,
